1. GeoFitness Grant

GeoFitness and selected State Associations for health, physical education, recreation and dance, are partnering to improve youth fitness and health through the funding of three equipment/training grants to the value of $10,000 in total per state. Two grants for $2729.00 will be awarded at the elementary level and one grant for $3865.00 will be awarded to a secondary school.  Second year funding of $500.00 for each school is possible based on meeting certain criteria.

2. ING Unsung Heroes

ING Unsung Heroes is awarding 100 K-12 educators that are part of an innovative classroom project. They are selected to receive grants of $2,000 three of the chosen are to receive an additional $25,000, $10,000 and $5,000.

Applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2008.

3. 3M Foundation - Health and Human Services Grants

The 3M Foundation is accepting applications for its Health and Human Services Grants program to support projects building and sustaining healthy communities and increasing resiliency in youth through prevention efforts from early childhood to 12th grade. Award amounts vary. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations located in 3M communities.
